Biography

Shoaib Mansoor is one of the most creatively restless figures in the history of Pakistani entertainment — a director, writer, and composer whose work has consistently pushed the boundaries of what Pakistani media will engage with. His contribution to Fifty Fifty as a young writer helped establish the comedy series as one of PTV's defining programmes. His direction of Alpha Bravo Charlie (1998) produced what many regard as the finest military drama in Pakistani television history, a series of extraordinary production values and emotional authenticity. He later transitioned to film, directing Khuda Kay Liye (2007) and Bol (2011), both of which sparked serious national conversations about faith, identity, and society. His career is a study in creative ambition sustained over four decades.
